The Black Plague (also known as bubonic plague or the black death) story by me.
In Europe there was an army about to attack a city. A girl lived there named Mary.
Men walked into the town with terrible news telling everyone that they are soon to be attacked by another army! Mary was frighted by the shock of the terrible news. She ran along to her house and opened the door. "Catherine! Mother! Jane! We are going to be attacked!" cried Mary. Her mother looked at her Jane washing the clothes and Catherine cleaning the table. "What? Where did you hear such nonsense!? We've had peace for years!" her mother looked at her as though she were crazy. "I really did hear it mother! I heard it on my way to the market! Lots of mean ridding horses came in at were yelling as though there lungs would pop any moment!" Mary told them what happened but her sisters and her mother didn't believe her. "You know what they say. Children tell stories." laughed Jane smirking. The door slammed open and father came in. Mary turned around. Father looked unhappy. "What ever is the matter James?" asked her mother. "Margret.... we are about to be attacked." James Mary's father looked sad and very upset. His eyes were not wild like they used to be. His hair was twisty like a forgotten forest. Not like when he had wild curly hair full of laughter. Mary turned back around "I told you so!" Margret Mary's mother looked at Mary then back at James. Jane's smirk turned into terror and Catherine looked like nothing had happened. But she was more serious. "No! I don't believe that we are going to have a war! Ha! It might be a lie! For all I care!" mother turned to her work a look of disgust came as she went back to work putting wood into the fire. "No Margret... it's true... believe me or not." he said his voice low. Mary looked at the floor tears dropped out onto the floor leaving marks from their dirty floor. "Mother why don't you believe me and father?" but her mother didn't reply. Jane soon shook her head and looked at the floor. Soon what was a good day turned into a dull morning for everyone. The church bells weren't ringing with their wonderful noise instead there was yelling of the military men coming to take all the men for war and training. Mary huddled desperately to her father not to leave. she couldn't bear to lose her father. soon the band of men came to their house shouting for her father to show himself and join the war. He walked out of their cold house soon they left. Jane ran after them shouting and screaming. She called them tyrants and terrorists and beasts from the infernal pit but that made the men laugh and keep on going. Catherine the oldest didn't chase after them she stood in the front yard beating the rug. Mary could form out some tears from Catherine's eyes. Mary had a sudden rage in her she tried to hold the fire spilling out her mouth but couldn't hold it any longer. She ran twice her speed and as she was running she came up with a evil plan that would tell the men to leave her father be and not mess with her. She soon could see their tiny shapes standing in front of another persons house. But the man in that house had to be dragged out of his house and two boys were pulling him back like a game of tug-o-war but instead of a long line of rope it was a man. She could make out a shape standing not helping. She guessed that it was her father. They came closer and closer the farther she ran. then she saw a women running yelling at them calling them names. "And that must be Jane." grumbled Mary. Soon she was face to face with the men. "Hey! What are you doing to all these people? Why do you have to take them now? Do you want me to set up a training club session?" asked Mary carefully planning on how to convince them to give her father back. "Quiet girl! We can do that ourselves." said a man large and tall laughing. "But what if I help you? More people would come if you didn't drag them out of their homes you know." she reminded them about their problem. "Don't you want your men strong with strong arms instead of breaking them?" she did have a point. "Hmm... interesting... what are you sugjesting?" asked her father playing along as though she wasn't his daughter. "What?! You trust a girl? She doesn't even know the might of our men!" grunted a man yelling. "Yes I do! She knows her stuff! She's right! Why are we hurting this mans arms! once we get him he is going to be worthless to us!" another man walked up the Mary a puzzled look on his face. even the men who were pulling the other man stopped and the two boys even stopped. Their father got up off the floor and looked at Mary. "Really? Well I feel like my arms are already broken you know?" he said rubbing his arms. then darkness covered her. she fell to the ground.
Mary woke up with her father smiling with joy and happiness. He explained to her that their attackers got a sudden mysterious disease which is killing them. They retreated back and aren't going to attack for a long time. Mary smiled. but then they heard crashing of things being launched over the wall. People screaming in horror. Mary jumped out of her bed and ran outside and saw bodies with red roses and black rotting skin on their noses and fingers and wrists and feet. They had big bumps of puss on their necks and fingers and arms. Then she looked down and saw a mountain of dead men pilled on top of each other. The smell of grossness and rotting flesh filled the air. The stench was strong. She wrinkled her nose and started coughing. Then a body flew out of no where and landed on top of Mary. She screamed this was the worse thing that could ever happen to her. Her father ran to the door and saw a man on her. He yelled at him to get off of her. But then he noticed that he wasn't alive. He pulled the dead man off Mary and saw that she had her hands on her head. She was wheezing and coughing. "What happened?" asked her father. "I'm fine I just bonked my head or something." after using most of her strength she fell backwards. "Help me drag Mary to bed she just got crushed!" her mother ran to see what happened and saw Mary on the floor. They dragged her to her bed. She shared it with her sisters. She fell asleep.
The next day she woke up with a massive head ace and she was super tired. She had chills and she was also hot and week. She coughed and she felt as though her skull had cracked. She tried to lift her hand to rub her eyes then she stopped. They had those rings on them up swelling bumps of grossness. she gagged. "Why are my fingers gross?" she asked. But no one answered her. Her house was silent. Then she noticed that no one was there. "Where is my family?" she asked starting to cry. The door opened and voices filled the room. She heard her mother and Catherine talking to a low old mans voice. "That must be the doc." she said. Then footsteps walked toward her and she saw a man with a frightening birds face looking mask on with clothes covering his body. He held a knife and a tray. He carefully took her arm out from under the covers and rolled up her sleeve and pocked the knife on her skin which cut it. Pain filled her arm and she cried out to her mother. Then he carefully took the tray and blood spilled out into the tray. This was called bleeding them. Then he took some peppers out of his bag and some posies and also some herbs and placed the herbs beside her face and told her to smell the posies. She did so then she saw the bird masked man get up and walk to their oven. He roasted the peppers in them. A minute later he took out the peppers and brought them to her bed side. steam filling the air. He rose her arms up moving the tray and checked her arm pits and then he nodded and put some burning peppers on her arm pits. Pain filled her arms and she gasped. then he lifted her arms down and checked her neck and put flaming peppers on her neck. That was even more painful then ever. she didn't just gasp she twitched in pain. Then the man put flaming peppers on her feet and arms. Carefully placing them in certain spots. Then he grabbed a bandage and wrapped it around her arm carefully and steadily and then he took away the tray and knife and cleaned it off with one wipe on her bed. and carefully placed it on the table down stairs. he climbed back up the later his beak head popping up to look at her. She jumped. Then he laughed and climbed all the way up and but a mask on her. A beak and it smelled nice. "Ah....Ahh.... AH-CHOO!" she sneezed and coughed loudly and soon fell asleep.

Also because then gross pictures of people with the black plague with pop up and no one wants to see such sadness. This is just part one everyone! There's more! Your going to have to wait to see what happens to her! Does she get better or worse?
